Cub Scout Columbus Day Preview

On Sunday a the Settlers Days Parade, there were two appropriately timed floats built by Cub Scouts.

Well, their parents probably helped.

Cub Scout Pack 163 built the Pinta. Click to enlarge.

First was a representation of the Pinta, built by Cub Scout Pack 163.

The Santa Maria came next, compliments of Pack 412. Click to enlarge.

Zion Lutheran Church sponsors Cub Scout Pack 412.

Cub Scout Pack 355's float contains a rocket. The sign on the side says, "John Glenn was a Boy Scout." Click to enlarge.

Cub Scout Pack 355 didn’t follow suit with the Nina.  It built another exploratory vehicle–a rocket.
