Bill Cellini Found Guilty on 2 of 4 Counts

Bill Cellini, the man leading the group the Crystal Lake City Council awarded the Route 14 Vulcan Lakes TIF development project to has been found guilty of conspiracy to commit extortion and aiding and abetting the soliticitation of a bribe.

  1. Sorry, Cal, but I hope “The Pope” rots in a jail cell or that he dodges time by ratting out the slugs he has dealt with.

    Also, it makes me wonder if Mr. Clean Jim Edgar is breaking a sweat, given his close personal AND business relationship with the Cellini’s.

  2. Somewhere I read in a school book that Public Servants work for the People, not steal from them to make their pockets fatter.

    Thanks U.S. Attornies on doing a good job of getting these people who stay in the shadows and people who stand behind the people who are in public, like Madigan who is the Big Fish to catch!
