Robber Caught at Location of Junk Yard Complaints

I was on my way to the Republican Central Committee meeting in Johnsburg when I came to a traffic problem just n north of Hillside Road and the entrance to Covered Bridge Trails.

I thought it was a traffic accident, but there seemed to be an awfully high number of Sheriff’s squad cars in the turning lane.

There was a white van parked in the driveway of the location of a big fight over junk being stored near Covered Bridge homes.

The photo I took turns out to be relevant to the Sheriff’s press release below it.

  1. Not surprised, I have seen this guy with his trailor and truck filled with stuff like bikes, grills, and so forth. He has a buddy in the area that he drops off a lot of stuff at. hmmm

  2. great job on the police departments part on the arrest this man stold things from property owners, trespassed anyone who stoops as low as he did should have a much higher bond then $30,000.what a pitiful person.get a life, get a job you thief.

  3. That guy is just bad news. He’s a convicted child molester as well. His truck and trailer look like they could fall apart at anytime when he’s driving!

I’m a scrapper myself, and I am sick of people like him who steal. He makes everyone else who collects scrap look bad. I get sick and tired of dealing with people who have a negative attitude towards scrap collectors like me. I have never stolen, if it isn’t clearly for the trash, it doesn’t go in my truck. I’m just trying to earn a living, and people like him make it harder for honest, hardworking people to put food on the table.
