McSweeney Keeps Reeling in More Money

State Rep. candidate Dave McSweeney said that he would raise $250,000 to finance his run for Illinois House of Representative against appointed incumbent Kent Gaffney and opponent Danielle Rowe.

When McHenry County Blog last looked at campaign finances in the 52nd District, here were the approximate results:

  • McSweeney $50,000 (including a $7,500 personal loan)
  • Gaffney – $43,500
  • Rowe – $14,000

  1. A least most of Gaffney’s money comes from IL.

The vast majority of McSweeney’s money looks like it comes from out of state.

  2. Mikhail Segal and and Sofia Segal bought condo unit #38D at 15 Central Park W. in Lincoln Square from Zeckendorf Development for $12.725 million on Feb. 28.

Mr. Segal is a member of the board of directors of Dynegy, the third largest independent power production company in the U.S. He also co-founded the LS Power Group and served as chairman and CEO.
