Corey Brackmann Officially Announces Run for McHenry County Board, District 6

Corey Brackmann is a third-generation resident of McHenry County.

As a McHenry County businessman, Corey faces many of the same challenges that confront our small businesses in this uncertain economy.

He believes strong, business-minded leadership that paves the way for business growth is needed to position McHenry County toward prosperity.

Corey & his wife, Lori, live in Marengo with their three children; sons: CJ and Caleb, and daughter: Alexandra.

He is a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo and is an active member of the community he grew up in.

• Bring some Sanity to Property Taxes
• Government needs to live within its means. Only when each government entity stops asking for the maximum amount of tax revenue they can ask for will property taxes actually go down.
• Expand the Commercial Tax Base to relieve property tax pressure on homeowners.
• Aggressively Promote Business Growth
• Work with our local business to fulfill their needs for growth and help them position themselves to thrive in this challenging and dynamic economy.
• Expanding Workforce Options for Our Residents will reduce their need to commute miles away.
• Market and promote McHenry County’s education, workforce, health care, and quality of life to businesses wishing to relocate.
• Aggressively Pursue Transportation Infrastructure Projects
• Offering Transportation Options will make McHenry County more attractive to Businesses.
• Roads and bridges need to be improved for safety of our residents
• Protecting & Preserving Our Water Supply
• Create thriving, sustainable communities by balancing development and natural resource conservation.
