Lake Zurick resident Amanda Howland presented petitions on the last day of filing to oppose State Senator Dan Duffy in the 26th District as a Democrat in the fall election.
Duffy has been an outspoken opponent of tax increases and insider dealings in Springfield.
During the last general election he was adamantly opposed by Personal PAC, a pro-abortion Political Action Committee that fervently supported State Rep. Mark Beaubien when he was challenged.
It would not surprise me to discover that Personal PAC were behind Howland’s candidacy.
Duffy expressed opposition to the selection of Kent Gaffney to replace Beaubien when he died.
