It’s Review of the Year Time for “Preserve Barrington Hills”

January 05, 2012 By: Cal Skinner Category: Barrington Hills, Preserve Barrington Hills

Actually, it’s a little past time, but better late than never.

“Preserve Barrington Hills” has a story pointing to its seven top articles:

The Village form of government is a “Village-Trustee” form

The 3 candidates of the Save5Acres slate violated Illinois Election Laws

Village President Robert G. Abboud does not live up to his own “Litmus Test” of telling the truth

Political cronyism in Village appointments runs rampant

Electric outlet cover prevents people attending Barirngton Hills Village Board meetings from plugging in their recoridng devices.

Independent review of complaints brought before Board is not allowed

Village Attorneys silent to illegal and unethical behavior by Abboud and Trustees

“Pay to Play” by Village officials alleged in a lawsuit between neighbors in a Commercial Boarding issue

My favorite story was overlooked.

It’s the one with the photo of the electric outlet where citizens used to be able to plug in their devices to record Barrington Hills Village Board meetings.

All is not well in “the Hills” Abboud must go and take “his” trustees with him. The “costs” of his administration go far beyond the monetary damages to the Village.
