IL Chamber of Commerce Endorses Gaffney for State Rep.
Fox River Grove…The Illinois Chamber of Commerce PAC has endorsed Kent Gaffney for State Representative in the Republican Primary for the 52nd House District.
Doug Whitley, President & CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, stated that Representative Gaffney is working with the Chamber to improve Illinois’ business climate to attract and retain good-paying jobs.
“Kent Gaffney has been a friend of the Chamber for many years,” Whitley said. “He has worked with us to pass pro-jobs, pro-business legislation that will help get Illinois back on track. Kent is a budget expert who has fought against job-crushing tax increases and wasteful government spending. We need Kent’s fiscal expertise in Springfield.”
Representative Gaffney thanked the Chamber for their support.
“I appreciate the Chamber’s support of my candidacy and I applaud them for the great work they do on behalf of job creators throughout Illinois,” Gaffney said.
“As State Representative, my top priority is job creation.
“I worked with the Chamber last fall to pass a jobs package that will provide real tax relief to Illinois businesses and working families. I will continue to support pro-jobs policies that will spur economic growth and make Illinois more attractive to employers.”
