Two Phone Calls Target 33rd State Senate District Part of Crystal Lake
A friend of McHenry County Blog writes that he received two political calls this week:
Karen McConnaughay and Peter Roskam talked after the Patriots United breakfast.
“Received two more phone calls this week.”One was from Peter Roskam, I missed it.
“It was an invitation to punch one on my phone and discuss issues important to this election.
“Sorry I missed it, I wanted to ask him about supporting McConnaughay.
“The second was a four minute survey from the 202 area code, asking me which Republican candidate I was supporting for President.
“After pushing 3 for Mitt Romney, it asked gender and age and terminated the call. I was afraid it was going to be an RNC fund raising call.”
Perhaps my part of northwestern Algonquin Township was not included in the telephone town hall meeting conducted by Congressman Roskam because he was trying to reenforce his endorsement of McConnaughay for State Senate. She is running against Cliff Surges.
