Today the Postal Service delivered an endorsement piece for McHenry County Board Chairman Ken Koehler.
As two years ago, Koehler received the endorsement of Pro-Life leader Irene Napier.
“If we want to promote good moral standards in our communities we must remain vigilant in our efforts to ensure good moral citizens are serving as our elected officials,” Napier starts her letter.
She notes Koehler “has always supported our efforts to protect values and morals. He supports our Pro-Life work…
“Ken has asked for my personal endorsement and it is with pleasure that I encourage you to give him your vote…”
I guess she thinks violating the Open Meetings Act and secret behind the scenes meetings to do dirty work is OK.
Is that how values and good morals work???
We need some new teachers.
When Irene Napier endorses people like Koehler and Nick Provenzano as “good moral citizens” I seriously question Ms Napier’s judgment. You are swayed by the obvious pandering of such politicians. Time to turn over the reins, Irene, and step down.
