This week in Washington, I introduced the bipartisan Government Spending and Accountability (GSA) Act which requires federal agencies to report the cost of all offsite meetings and conferences to Congress. The GSA scandal is just a small glimpse of the growing culture of waste and abuse in Washington. It seems that these bureaucrats think the hard-earned taxpayer dollars they waste are their own to spend however they want. We must hold federal agencies accountable to the American taxpayer and stop this culture of wasteful spending.Click here to view my press release on the GSA Act.

Our mobile office hours have changed! My staff will hold mobile office hours every Friday from 12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at the Schaumburg Township Center, One Illinois Blvd. Hoffman Estates, IL. If you cannot make it to one of my district offices, let us come to you!

Hope to see you in Schaumburg toda

I work for you,

Joe Walsh
