That’s what Governor Pat Quinn’s $11,562.72 in charitable contributions, reported in the Chicago Sun-Times Sunday, divided by his reported income of $201,066 yields as a percentage.

  1. Quinn has a strange way of being charitable.

    The charities would be better off if Quinn kept his personal money and instead negotiated better contracts with public sector unions and reformed public sector pensions, so the State of IL had more money for vendor payments and funding to the charities.
