Pursuant to and in accordance with the By-Laws of the McHenry County Republican Central Committee, a Call for a “Special Meeting” may be called by not less than 25% of the committeemen.

This Special Meeting is for the purpose of electing two members to the Representative Committee of the 63rd Representative District, from among the members of the county central committee who reside in the 63rd Representative District.

Under state law, these two members, along with Chairman Tryon, form the Representative Committee of the 63rd Representative District.

  1. We will be collecting 1,000 signatures if they appoint me!

  2. Lets watch Mark Daniels, Fred , Geri, Pam Palmer squrm now.

    No meeting behind closed doors!!!

    Go Tonya!!

  3. Cal, all this really proves is that you have more political power than Mr. Tryon or any other Republican establishment leader ever dreamed to possess AS WELL AS it proving that you have more media influence in McHenry County politics than the Northwest Herald and the Tribune combined.

The local newspapers didn’t even know what was going on in the political scene, let alone you helped actually to determine the outcome.

That’s impressive. You deserve credit, Cal, as a jounalist. Congratulations.

It’s sad the mainstream media has just a few English-major flunkies getting the news from a handful of political bosses and the police who then feed them their story and the paper then reports that as news. It really is shameful this is the sad state of the media.

Cal, your insightful and acurate coverage of this story highlights these truths.

  4. Congratulations, but all you have done is get a meeting on the calendar.

Now you have to get a quorum of committeemen there at the meeting next Saturday morning.

Impressive feat to call a special meeting, but calling a meeting and conducting it legally are 2 different things.

  5. Sharon Meroni deserves the credit.

She does good research and is quite organized.

  6. Committeeman Sharon Meroni you did a great job.

After the nomination committee is appointed on June 2nd.

Lets have a RECALL vote for Chairman Mike Tryon 2nd of the Agenda.

  7. Sharon Meroni is amazing! I have full confidence in what we are doing! I cannot begin to thank her enough for her tireless efforts researching and organizing this! If you need a mountain moved LEGALLY, Sharon is the woman to get that job done.

Cal Skinner reports the news! (and moves mountains in his spare time) Thank you Cal for caring enough to get the truth to McHenry County!

Thank you to all of the above named who felt I deserved to have a chance to address the Committee and called the meeting for this.

We have a wonderful core group of women that are very engaged and working hard. I am so impressed with each of them and so grateful. This is a huge group effort and we welcome anyone that wants to make a difference to join us.
