Peter Roskam

The fourth most powerful Republican in Congress will come to Veterans Acres in Crystal Lake this Saturday afternoon from 2-3:30.

His name is Peter Roskam and unless there is a tectonic shift in voter loyalties in his 6th Congressional District.

McHenry County is of interest because Illinois Democrats extended his Wheaton-based district all the way to the street in front of our home midway through the old part of Lakewood. (About midway through the lake.)

Roskam will represent all of Algonquin Township when the new term starts.

Gates 11 and 12 are on western the edge of Algonquin Township.

The northern edge is Crystal Lake Avenue.

Observant folks will notice that Veterans Acres is not in Algonquin Township, but it is a great place to picnic.
