The Missing Zinke

August 15, 2012 By: Cal Skinner Category: Andy Zinke, Keith Nygren, McHenry County Sheriff, McHenry County Sheriff's Department

Yesterday, I noticed that Sheriff Keith Nygren himself was mentioned in the press release about the arrest of two 17-year old Crystal Lakers for torching barns throughout McHenry County.

In other words, in this high profile instance, which made Chicago television, Undersheriff Andrew Zinke’s name was not featured as it has been in other recent publicity efforts by the Sheriff’s Department.

Today, I got an email from a reader who noticed the same thing.

Could it be that Sheriff Nygren has decided that Zinke can’t win a Republican Primary Election?

I doubt anything that Nygren thinks will soon matter!

Zinke because he was riding what he figured were ‘shoe in’ coat tails, is finding that he crossed the wrong men by writing his silly personal attack letters.

(Most readers probably don’t know what Zinke did, but let’s just say, he opened a can of really juicy worms and they got tossed right back at him.)

How did that work out for you Andy?

See, when you have your own past, you probably shouldn’t attack others.

Nobody is perfect, but when you live in a glass house, best to mind your own drapes?

The pictures of your family Fundraiser attendees were priceless!

Neither man will matter by the time the Sheriff’s election fires up NEXT year.

All of you in McHenry County Politics, I’d be running away from Nygren about now!

If I were Zinke I’d be looking to get out of dodge ASAP!

With former Deputy, Gary Pack pal, Jim Harrison hinting at his own candidacy for Sheriff, I’ll bet that there are readers out there that can name some more of the “usual suspects” just waiting for a call from the “boss” to interview for the Sheriff’s position.

If Zinke and Harrison are representative of home grown candidates, we sure need to go outside the County and scrape the Nygren brand off our shoes.

Someone should ask the Sheriff if he’ll support Jim Harrison.

Nobody will be surprised the Jim.

Step#1 is the put Pyle on unpaid. If he somehow wins his job back, pay him back pay. Cut off the free lunch to this pedophile.

Step#2 quit doing stupid crap.Sending the MARV because they may have a gun?? GIVE ME A BREAK. What next, sending Marv on warrant attempts because the guy has a FOID? Wait for the shoe to fall BEFORE calling the cobbler.

Do you think maybe Zinke is trying to distance himself from Nygren?

    Just asking:

Could Zane Seipler win a three way contest between Zinke, Harrison and himself?

  6. Zinke and Harrison have a lot of baggage.

    Zane could surely win.

People just need to stand up and support him and we will have a clean, well functioning department.

Zinke has dirt on him and Harrison was a good, close friend of Gary Pack.

Pack was a dirt bag state attorney.

Keep voting the bums in and things only get worse and have ourselves to blame.

Didn’t Zinke say that the Pyle story was a “domestic issue”!

  8. Yes, that is what Zinke said.

This guy SHOULD NOT BE A SHERIFF.

    WOW!

    It’s about time.

May the dominos begin to fall.

When the dominos begin to fall, it should start with the Sheriff . . .The bigger you are the harder you fall.
