I’m beginning to wonder if Madigan may need Dee Beaubien’s vote to remain House Speaker.
If so and if Beaubien wins, it’s going to be hard for Republican Party leaders to explain why there are 18 precincts (15 in Algonquin Township and 3 in Nunda Township) in Republican Dave McSweeney’s part of McHenry County without Republican Precinct Committeemen. Maybe appointments will be announced at the Algonquin Township GOP meeting on Thursday night.
