Evidence of campaign activity by Demcoratic Party candidate for McHenry County Board District 2 made itself visible this past week.

The Jim Roden for County Board yard sign has a little donkey on it.

Roden lives just down the street from me and has lived here since high school.

With that long in the community, one would expect that he knows a lot of people.

But his yard signs are not just showing up in yards of people who have lived in Crystal Lake for a long time.

The one you see above was in the yard of a family who moved to Crystal Lake in the last year.

That makes be believe he is going door-to-door.
