Walking for Mental Health Awareness in McHenry County
There are all sorts of activities taking place on Saturdays in fall.
Balloons greeted NAMI walkers and runners as they went to the shelter which replace the ones Crystal Lake Jaycees built in the 1950′s at Veterans Acres
One was the 5k Walk Run for Mental Health Awareness sponsored by the McHenry County Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

There were those who had never participated in such an event and others who were really serious.
These men doing sit-ups were into serious warm up exercises at the NAMI McHenry County 5k Walk Run.
The fund raising event had clear, if brisk weather.
