Fall 2012 McHenry County Early Voting Locations and Time — 4 Comments

  1. Grumpy me – I do not like early voting. Old voting machines used and the people guarding them on on the ballot!!!!

  2. FYI; Couldn’t agree with you more.

I understand the concept of absentee ballots and their reaon, but early voting is, I’m sorry, for the lazy who ‘just can’t get up that early” because I have to work, or whatever.

It IS your right to vote, yes, but it is also a RESPONSIBILITY to make an effort, just like the rest of us, to take a few minutes out of your busy day (like the rest of us) and carry out your duty and right.

I understand other points, but I couldn’t disagree more with early voting. We have become some of the most lazy, self absorbed, me first people I have ever heard of, and we should be ashamed.

Look at the Utube video of the man on his deathbed voting who used to be interned in a camp during WWII here in the USA!

As my Grandmother used to say, “Take a lesson and suck it up, buttercup”!!

  3. There is no auditing of early voting.

It is a fact that extra seals for the machines are stored inside.

Now we have absentee ballots requests from dead voters that are being returned with votes Surprise surprise surprise.
