Message of the Day – Billboards
As we were driving through South Georgia, I notice lots of billboards.
Obviously the campaign to limit billboards has been lost along this Georgia section of Interstate 75.
It reminded me of Lady Bird Johnson’s campaign to get rid of them.
For a while, the Federal government was buying owner out, I believe.
Billboard advertising has obviously reasserted itself along this Interstate highway.
I wonder how effective billboards really are for a business?
I know I don’t look at them while driving.
Billboards are plain ugly!
