Lee Jennings Nunda Township Mailing Reveals Slate

February 23, 2013 By: Cal Skinner Category: Lee Jennings, Mike Lesperance, Nunda Township, Nunda Township Road Commissioner, Susan Jennings

I invite all the candidates in contested township races in McHenry County to share their mailings with readers.

The latest to send one in is Nunda Township Supervisor candidate Lee Jennings.  He is running against Bridigett Provenzano.

When I looked at the address side, I see there is a sample ballot recommending the nomination of the following candidates:

  • Lee Jennings for Supervisor
  • Susan Jennings for Clerk
  • Mike Lesperance for Road Commissioner
This sample ballot for the Nunda Township Republican primary election appears on Lee Jennings post card.

Provenzano is going to win by a landslide. She has her husband’s name recognition and has his experience running a campaign.

That said, what does everyone think about the QR code on this mailer? I know of no one who actively uses a QR code reader on their smart phone. Is it worth peoples time (and not just politicians, any business that does mailers)?

Not really. Please see this video if you weren’t at the Nunda Forum:

I was appalled that someone could act like this and think they are capable of being Supervisor.
