A friend of McHenry County Blog sent us the following information yesterday:
“Just got a recorded call letting me know that our State Representative from the 63rd District, Jack Franks, and his wife Debby will be at the Wisted’s Supermarket 21775 W Grant Hwy, Marengo, IL.
“The recording stated that they will be there to listen to what voters have to say from 9 to 11am on Saturday, March 9, 2013.”

Perhaps constituents who have repeated tried to talk to him about his position on gay marriage will come see him.
He was also unavailable to speak to us at IGOLD yesterday.
It looks like a pattern of not answering to the voters on “hot button” topics.
He did vote to ban semi auto pistols and magazines that hold more than ten rounds, contrary to his “support of the second ammendment”.
Ugh. Just read this on Saturday at 11:15AM.
Or I would have driven to Marengo to ask him to explain his votes on the amendments to HB1156.
Jack has yet to co-sponsor HB0997.
Somebody, please ask him which side he’s on.
Second Amendment, self-defense and concealed-carry, or that other side.
