Meanwhile, Sunday, the Northwest Herald ran a story saying that the McHenry County Grand Jury has found the Village’s deed to be legitimate.
Sounds reasonable to me that the Village would want to advise its residents of the expenditure of substantial funds for a legal matter in which it prevailed.

Regarding the litigation, it is not over due to the Village’s unwiliingness to accept the ruling from the lower court when they won the litigation.
Your tax dollars filling the pockets of the Village lawyer.

If you read Trustee Zanko’s article put up on the blog today, you will see that they added another lawyer to the bill.
Conflict of interest when the lawyer representing the village, also prepared the deeds in question.
You cant make this stuff up.

Corruption is a festering wound in Johnsburg.
Everyone who turns a blind eye, or as you guys do, defends the corruption=part of the problem.
