Sun-Times Again Calls for Judge Maureen McIntrye to Drop Out of Vanecko Case

You have to wonder at whom the Chicago Sun-Times editorial board is aiming its repetitive editorials that McHenry County Circuit Court Judge Maureen McIntyre.

It certainly can’t be her constituents, because the Sun-Times’ circulation in McHenry County wasn’t large enough to run a story on the FBI killing of a prospective bank robber in Richmond.

Maybe this is the paper’s way of encouraging the Judicial Inquiry Board to act quickly in its deliberations concerning, presumably, her divorce from her husband in Boone County in which, reportedly, she kept most of the family assets and her ex- managed to avoid business debts.

  1. Time to do the right thing Judge Maureen Mcintyre.

    Your presence in this case makes people question your integrity and motivation.

    Even if you have no bad intentions, the appearance of impropriety is present.

  2. Questions of integrity and motivation or the appearance of impropriety is the norm for McHenry County politics.

    Was this not confirmed this week when the Chair of the McHenry Board received approval for HER choice of who should sit on the Mental Health Board?

  3. Now that I have had time to think about this.

    Shouldn’t there be a hearing before we pillory Big Mac, or BM ™?

    It is not fair to cast blame on this justice without a hearing.

    I believe we should be calling for a hearing and not just complaining about “business as usual.”

    It’s not fair to bring up conduct that has not been proven.

    So, JIB do you job and hear the evidence here and then find no misconduct, like you do in every case.
