The warming shelter is to the right of the under construction Fox River Grove Metra Station from Route 14.

The rush hour is over, so the Fox River Grove Warming Station, just in time for summer, should be dedicated by now, according to the press release that follows:

METRA Warming Shelter to Open Wednesday, June 5th

On Wednesday, June 5th the new METRA warming shelter will open after the morning rush hour. This facility will be open Monday-Friday at 4:25 a.m.; Saturday 5:50 am and Sunday 8:40 am. The facility will close daily at 1:40 a.m.

The current station will close on Friday, June 7th after the morning rush hour and will be demolished the following week. Once construction of this new facility is complete, commuters will have 2 warming shelters and restrooms available to them.
