  1. This issue certainly reinforces the obvious conflict of interest for Anna May Miller to be Chairman of the County Tranportation Commitee, while her husband, Robert Miller continues his 20-year career as Algonquin Township Road Commissioner.

Chairman Tina Hill should do the right thing and remove Mrs. Miller from the Committee entirely.

    But, will she/Hill do it?

  2. To add to the conflict, Mrs. Miller takes home a pay check from the Township which is not much less then the one the taxpayers fund for Mr. Miller!

    This is beyond a conflict!

It is an insult to the taxpayers but then the taxpayers voted Mr. and Mrs. Miller into their respective offices so whose fault is it?

As long as “independent” and conservative voters stay home on election day, the current status of conflict will continue.

Total up Mrs. Millers taxpayer funded pay checks and you will find she is paid more than her hubby.

Not illegal but it sure reflects on the intelligence of the voters!!
