A press release from the Huntley Area Tea Party indicates that Kane County Board Chairman Chris Lauzen will address the group Wednesday night at 7 at the Huntley Park District building.
HUNTLEY AREA TEA PARTY
Kane County Board Chairman
Chris Lauzen was elected to the office of Kane County Board Chairman in November, 2013. During twenty years as Illinois State Senator, and now as Board Chairman, Chris has championed the issues that matter to families and small businesses. Chris’ top priorities for Kane County residents are to: “Freeze the County Property Tax Levy; Treat People Respectfully; and Honest, Competent Administration through Innovation and Austerity”.
Chairman Lauzen brings to county government a long and respected service in the Illinois State Senate where he held two main legislative priorities: cut wasteful government spending and foster a business climate in Illinois where the private industry can maintain and create jobs paying higher wages. While in the Senate, he sponsored the largest employment tax decrease in the past 20 years keeping $250 million of excess unemployment insurance in the Illinois economy.

Chris Lauzen’s presentation is entitled: “Good Government is the Better Politics”
We will hear about key initiatives that address those most important matters to both families and small businesses. We will also see an update on Kane County finances that provide for county needs and priorities. Chris is also interested in listening; hearing what you have to say when it comes to good government for us all. Come on out and enjoy this important, timely and interesting event.
