Coroner’s Office Investigates Fatal Car Crash—Car vs. Tree

McHenry County Coroner, Dr. Anne Majewski, announced today that her office is investigating the death of George R. Jackson Jr., 56, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois.

A 911 call came in at 0422 after a driver came upon the accident scene at 16210 North Route 14 in Woodstock.

Mr. Jackson was unresponsive at the scene, then transported to Woodstock Centegra Medical Center, where he was pronounced shortly after arrival.

Further investigation is currently underway. No other details are available at this time.
