Former Congressman and Mrs. Joe Walsh want to make it clear that the public is invited to their home Saturday afternoon from 4-6 to meet the candidate that they are supporting for McHenry County Sheriff.
His name is Bill Prim.
Their home is located in the subdivision north of the McHenry Outdoor Theater. Drive up Chapel Hill Road past the Drive-In and follow the signs.
Former Congressman Joe Walsh will host a Meet & Greet for Republican primary election Sheriff’s candidate Bill Prim on July 13th.
The other candidate is Andy Zinke.
I just a bit curious on Mr. Walsh’s opinion on if a candidate should condone or condemn supporters targeting family of other candidates?
I know I for one supported vehemently on blogs his decision to keep the case involving his kids out the public eye as families should always be off limits.
Curious if he feels as strong as I do on the topic, or if it is a grey area for him?
I wonder if one will be able to discuss with Mr. Prim his supervision technique of officers in the Des Plaines police department that allegedly beat prisoners while in custody??
I too supported Joe very strongly online against those that attacked him through his family.
I will also be very interested to hear if he condones Zinke’s family being targeted in the way they have been.
Will those attacking Zinke through his family be warmly welcomed into Joe’s home?
I still feel good about my stance that Joe’s family should have been left out and policy should have been all that was debated.
I will eagerly await if Joe feels the same way or if he now supports political candidates families being acceptable targets for a campaigns supporters.
