If you would like to talk to Crystal Lake city officials about flooding, Tuesday from 5 to 8 o’clock is the time.

The June 26th storm dumped 8 inches on the McHenry County College campus and all that water flows to Crystal Lake.

If the pipe beneath South School’s play ground were large enough, presumably the water would not be seen there after a heavy rain.

As I mention is said post, North Shore Drive did not flood. It acted like the dam it was intended to be and directed runoff through a new and improved ditch between Woodland Drive and the North Shore.
