  1. Hey let’s go support the biggest purveyors of nepotism in the county.

Maybe there is an unmarried relative you can hook up with and get a job.

  2. I read the comments as wonder how people can ignore the Miller grip on SE McHenry County?

    Look at the connections.

    Look who the Millers support.

Anna double dips getting County Board and Township pay, THis makes her future IMRF retirement earnings HUGE.

    Doesn’t anyone care?

Attorney Daughter Rebecca Lee DID work for Bianchi when arranging the “special” bond hearing for Miller relatives but now bails on Bianchi and is under Nygren’s wing.

The whole Miller clan is backing the chosen one ZINKE.

Watch next spring for Township employees ‘helping’ with Zinke signs and making sure no Prim signs are in the right of way.

How can people ignore the luxury ride Bobby MIller drives as his township vehicle?

How can people ignore the nepotism running rampant within the Highway Dept?

  3. I know they are BIG supporters for our next McHenry County Sheriff, Andrew Zinke, but its something about them I just don’t like.

  4. Fukoku Kyohei: Your comment indicates you know something most of the rest of us do not.

Is the ‘fix’ already in for Zinke?

If so, Primm supporters need to work the polls to ensure more than a ten percent win over Zinke.

Difficult to ‘fix’ the result when the difference is greater than ten percent.

  5. Fukoku Kyohei probably knows that Nygren and Bobby Miller have control over the precinct committee men in the SE part of the County which is the largest vote population.

The regular GOP minions will do the door knocking in favor of Zinke.

They fear the power of those in power.

Zinke has no integrity but Nygren has power and Miller covets power.

The GOP network in the entire county has been corrupted by Nygren’s control.

Prim doesn’t stand a chance against the GOP machine.

    The Northwest Herald protects Zinke.

They don’t have a reporter that will file a FOIA to explain the lack of overweight tickets in the last 6-8 months.

It is because Zinke took a good Truck enforcement officer and reassigned him to abandoned autos.

Zinke panders money people and to the campaign money of these big trucking interests.

  6. So what does this mean for an independent candidate such as Harrison?

I think regardless of the insider corruption within the GOP organization, it will ultimately fail.

People seem to rule out the independent voters.

People fed up with being expected to vote for the party guy.

If Harrison had ties to Nygren like some have stated don’t you think he’d be running as a Republican do split the vote which would hurt Nygren’s hand picked boy?

I agree that the regular GOP is playing into Nygren’s hands and Zinke is the favored guy.

I suggest those unhappy with the status quo come over to the Harrison side.

    Make it interesting.

  7. Justin, Harrison was part of the chosen.

Nygren, Pack, and Harrison all good buddies.

Harrison was the one to get outsource legal work from them.

  8. Bill Who has no chance against a professional of 25 years in the McHenry County Sheriff Department.

Undersheriff Andrew Zinke climbed his way through the ranks that earned him the Sheriff’s position.

No corruption involved, just common sense people.

I never met Jim Harrison, but he seems to be a good man.

However, common sense will tell us all as an independent candidate he doesn’t stand a chance against the GOP machine.

This leave’s Bill Who, which I know very little about and don’t care for his supporters’ immoral tactics.

  9. Should have said it would help Nygren’s hand picked guy.

    Three way would help Zinke.

  10. What are you smoking fukoku?

    Climbed thought the ranks?

Except for being a k-9 deputy he was a lousy cop .

He was a Golden Boy as soon as Nygren became Sheriff.

He was never a street or patrol sergeant.

He spent the majority of his time in the evidence room.

Then he was promoted to lieutenant and guess where he stayed ?

Then he was Appointed as undersheriff.

This guy was never a real leader.

His whole career has been sheltered and orchestrated by Keith Nygren . Politics drove his career, not work or talent.

If he had any police sense he would not be stupid enough to contact a business owner whose company was named by the DEA and totally blow any investigation.

Oh does it matter that this was his campaign manager and merit commission member????

Either of the other two candidates would dance around him as far as skill and ability are concerned .

  11. @FYI….. Harrison Pack, Harrison Nygren, what’s next ,Harrison Bianchi?

Trust me that if Harrison was advising Nygren the county would not have blown nearly a million bucks on foolish fights.

Employee law is Harrison’s area of practice.

If Nygren was his big buddy why didn’t he hire Harrison instead of these other guys that lost at each court hearing?

Maybe Harrison and Bianchi would have sat down like professionals and agreed on some issues rather than battle in a public squabble costing hundreds of thousands.

  12. I don’t smoke Phillip. I receive my information from Andrew Zinke’s website and what I read in the media. I don’t have the inside scoop in the McHenry County Sheriff Department as you seem to have.

But on the other hand, I don’t know who you are and you may be one of Bill Who’s supporters’ using immoral tactics to discredit Undersheriff Andrew Zinke. I base my option on the facts, and based on the fact that Undersheriff Andrew Zinke has been cleared of all wrongdoing in this DEA investigation, tells me a lot about your direction. If you would have just left that out, I might have considered your statement to be somewhat authentic.

  13. Phillip,

    Township employees don’t receive IMRF.

Smart politicians have yearly fundraisers, the Millers aren’t the only ones to do it.

How does every conversation on this blog become about Zinke?

  14. Correct me if I am wrong.

    I understand Munartetto got it.

    Not sure who else.

Alg Twp does it own thing!

  15. @ Fukoku. Maybe you’re on drugs then.

    What investigation?

    They won’t release any information.

    Cleared by who?

This smells and everyone knows it .

Look at his website and he’ll look like a one man army.

Maybe of you could find a deputy not afraid to tell the truth , they’ll tell you that’s tale is near zero.

Zinke has taken intelligent hard working deputies and transferred them to do nothing jobs so they can’t hurt his election chances.

He has promoted his friends and has his own commanders doing political dirt mining while on duty.

Do you really want a man with such low ethics as Sheriff?

Then to believe the NWH is like reading the funnies for news.

Connect the dots between Zinke his attorney, the Sheriff and the connection to the NWH.

They can’t write anything without describing the people against Zinke without saying “disgruntled employee” or some disparaging remark about “bloggers”.

Thank heaven for bloggers such as Cal and others in the county that don’t swallow the lies of the Zinke campaign.

They totally ignore Prim and Harrison.

Lastly @ The Mrs yes township employees are part of IMRF.

  16. The Millers have done nothing but flaunt their money and act like they personally own the whole township.

They can have their stupid wine parties but I will NOT be supporting their egomaniac and entitled behavior.

I hate them, they disgust me, and I won’t vote for them.
