South Side Blagojevich Era Corruption Summary

Monday is a hard day for newspapers to come up with stories.  It’s not just that little governmental happens over the weekend, but the papers have very few reporters on the street.

The Chicago Sun-Times solved that problem last Monday by summarizing the people accused or convicted of crimes mainly involving grants awarded from the Departments of Public Health and Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

This occurred during the time that “reformer” Rod Blagojevich was in office.

As you can see below, the Sun-Times had pictures of them all.

Featured in the article are Margaret Davis, Regina Evans, Ronald Evans, Jr., Jeri Wright, Leon Dingle, Jr., Lloyd Kelly, Connie Howard and Quin Golden.
