Jim Durkin and Peter Roskam to Headline Sunday, October 27th, GOP Fund Raiser

Besides the McHenry County Republican Central Committee bank account, there is another called the McHenry County Chairman’s Circle.

Money from it, controlled by GOP Party Chairman Mike Tryon, goes to finance headquarters and other expenses that could be paid for by the Central Committee, if it had enough money.

On the 27th of this month, a Sunday, a $150 event ($500 for sponsors) will be held at Crystal Lake’s 1776 at 4:30.

It is billed as a “Scotch Tasting and Dinner to Benefit the McHenry County GOP.”

The invitation says that beer, wine and soft drinks may be substituted for scotch.

Newly-elected House Minority Leader Jim Durkin and Congressman Peter Roskam are the draws.
