McHenry County State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi was the emcee at Bill Prim’s Crystal Lake Country Club fundraiser on Thursday night.

Over 200 attended the standing room only event.

“I need a partner in law enforcement,” Bianchi said In his opening remarks.

“We need a new sheriff.

“In so many ways he stands head and shoulders above his opponents.

“He believes these elected offices belong to you and the community.”

Bianchi then introduced Pastor Terry Riley of the Crystal Lake Assembly of God.

Riley served as jail chaplain under Sheriffs George Hendel and Bill Mullen.

Before praying over the meal, Riley said he was supporting Prim because

he “is God fearing and believes in the importance of integrity, a leader who would challenge his staff [with] excellence.”

Campaign manager Matt McNamara was up next to introduce his former boss and “mentor” at the Des Plaines Police Department.

Prim, McNamara explained, had worked

  • in undercover capacities in drug investigations
  • full-time with a U.S. Customs task force
  • in a a worldwide Drug Enforcement Administration probe called Operation Global Seed.

Prim was also a finalist for Federal Employee of the Year

Investigations during his career resulted in the seizing of currency and/or assets of $20 million.

Prim’s retirement party last October resulted in full house, “showing what people thought of him.”

“Bill is one of the most cerebral and intelligent leaders I even met,” McNamara continued.

And, “he’s a sensational father.”

“Over a year and ten months ago, a group started meeting to find a candidate,” McNamara revealed.

He told Prim the County “needed his leadership.”

Prim’s reply to the pitch:

“Absolutely not!”

Prim turned McNamara down for three days in a row.

Then, the Sheriff did something that disturbed Prim.

The next time they talked, Prim said,

“I’m just absolutely sick of what’s happening in this County.

“This should be one of the premier law enforcement agencies in the country.”

McNamara then introduced Prim as “a man of no ego.”

McNamara had made a joke about standing in front of a dark window.  (“This is exactly what I try to avoid.”)

“I can tell you how I used to deal with Matt,” Prim started out.

“I’ll be OK.”

Then, the prospective McHenry County Sheriff spoke as a candidate.

“This is difficult for me.

“I might not be an excellent candidate, but I’ll be an excellent Sheriff.”

Prim said he had looked at the Departmental budget.

From 2008-2012 when everybody was worried about [the economy], that agency expanded [its] budget by 30% [and hired] thirteen [new employees].”

Prim said that he believed in doing more with less, not less with more.

He pledged to reconstitute the traffic unit and to eliminate some supervisory positions, mentioning specifically the Legal Affairs Officer.

Looking at Bianchi, he said the Department already had good legal advice available.

“I believe in being totally transparent,” he continued.

He plans to “bring people in and let them see,” he said referring to his plan to recruit volunteers.

“Even the Federal government has figured that out.”

At the last parade he said that he had eighty volunteers, “forty were new…many who have never been involved before.”

Prim said he wanted to leave a county where his kids would want to live.

His son Hank was back from college for fall break. Prim told with pride of the articles he was writing for a national student conservative journal, “The College Conservative.”

Prim told of meeting with employees of the Sheriff’s Office.

At the last meeting, there were requests for 150 yard signs.

So far, “300-350 who work for the County are requesting yard signs.”

He told of going to cruise nights, expos, a gun show and other events to meet people.

“We’re going to continue that until we take over the office.

“It’s time for a change,” Prim concluded to a standing ovation.

Over 200 at GOP Sheriff’s Candidate Bill Prim’s Fundraiser — 30 Comments

  1. The song “Over There” by George Cohan comes to mind with a few alternations that will describe the inspiration that will defeat Bill Who.

“Over there, the Zinke Army is coming, so be prepare, say a prayer, send the word, send the word to beware, we’ll be over there, we’re coming over, and we won’t come back till it’s over for Bill Who.”

STOP Corruption and join the fight against Corruption in our county by voting for Undersheriff Andrew Zinke for Sheriff.

  2. Fukoku, the song that came to me was “Anchors Away”, official Navy song . . . good message. I sure hope your above comment was not a threat by the Zinke regime.

  3. I hope Walmart is hiring, my hubby is going to need a job soon. We will have to buy our own car too. Time to double the medication. Maybe Andy can write himself a letter of recommendation. Oh Fukoku me!

  4. “Fukoku” = Kim

STOP Corruption and join the fight against Corruption in our county by voting for Bill Prim.

Lou Bianchi and Bill Prim have the ability to change our Mchenry County Government into a positive place people will want to stay and raise their own kids and Grandchildren. It is time to take our Government back and vote for Bill Prim.

  5. Look how concern Mr. Corruption himself, Louis Bianchi is in the photograph “Bill Who gives his talk.”

Louis has that look of defeat on his face as Bill Who gives his speech “I might not be an excellent Sheriff.”

  6. Hey Duncan Mchenry = Zane Seipler, is that your buddy Scott Milliman?

Unfortunately like you, another A$$ kisser hoping to get his job back which is nothing more than just fantasy.

The two of you should work together at Wal-Mart as greeters.

  7. “Fukoku” = Kim Zinke….

Keep talking you and your husband, Andy Zinke, have no one to blame but yourselves for his catastrophic defeat in the upcoming election for Mchenry County Sheriff…

I hear Andy only has a handful of political supporters..

The fund raiser last night had over 200 people there for Bill Prim…..

The Mchenry County tax payers plan to take their Government back..

The Government is for the people, by the people and it not for the taking, because of political corruption..

Whether you like it or not, we the people are protected by the Constitution, for which our forefathers protected the power of the vote.

Bye Andy Zinke, Kim Zinke and Keith Nygren, it wasn’t nice knowing you.

The time is right for change and the time is right to bring our home town community back to what it is meant to be and the people will make sure that happens on election day.

  8. I hope nobody finds out my hubby failed the Sgt. exam.

Then he wrote a letter asking them to re-check the test scores.

And again they told him “you failed”.

know Zane passed the test no problem.

Guess my hubby is not that bright.

    That’s why he married me.

Oops, time to take my meds.

Maybe when he works at Walmart we will get a prescription discount.

  9. “The fund raiser last night had over 200 people there for Bill Who…..”

This statement is SO widely fabricated I don’t even know where to begin, but I will give it my best to point out key facts.

All photos taken at Mr. Corruption’s fundraiser for Bill Who are conveniently all close shots for two reasons.

The first is to hide the fact that it must have been mandatory for all employees in the McHenry County State’s Attorney Office to attend to give the appearance of a crowd of supporters.

The other is because there were not 200 people in the room, because 200 people could not fit in that room with Mr. Corruption’s BIG crooked nose.

  10. Over 200 people?

I know one that had to be there to not fear trouble at her work…but 200?

I don’t care who you are that is funny…lol…

  11. Butqueeriously, why is that funny? My hubby only had like 9 people at his meet and greet at the seafood place. My hubby doesn’t even have supporters in the parades with him. If he doesn’t wear his uniform and drive his Tahoe nobody knows who the hell he is.

  12. I am glad Bill Prim decided to run and I will be glad to vote for him. How sad that people are using this blog to try to ruin the reputations of others while cowardly hiding behind screen names. Where has our country gone?

  13. “Fukoku”= Kim Zinke and “buseriouslynow” are from the Sheriffs Department. They are just upset because the cause for change is working…They have no merit and no valid arguments, just mud slinging… Prim supporters were even able to garner the support and signatures of Andy Zinke’s Neighbors for Bill Prim’s Petitions… Now that is really funny… Everyone seems to know about the “Nygren and Zinke Circus” as well as “Zinke Family Antics”…The tax payers are tired of all of it and ready for change.. Time to vote Bill Prim into office… Sure hope Andy makes a good Walmart greeter, because if he doesn’t he is out of luck… Personally, if I saw him at Walmart I would have to take my shopping elsewhere…. He is “SCARY”…..On second thought, he would make a great prop as a “BIG GREEN MONSTERM” for Walmart’s Halloween marketing program……. Kim could be one of his “GREEN GOBLINS” (Green for money) Just don’t let her anywhere near the kids. As for Keith Nygren he could be the “GREEN HULK” Just make sure he is in the adult section because if the kids get one look or one whiff of Keith Nygren they will never go back to Walmart…. I don’t know about all of you, but I am taking my shopping to Kmart , where it is safe and the air is fresh..

  14. Three Mchenry County Sheriffs officers beat up a 140 lb 17 year old with possible permanent brain damage.. This is what Zinke has to say about his boys–>

“Undersheriff Andrew Zinke said the Sheriff’s department stands by the three officers involved in the incident after officials reviewed the video and audio recording taken from the officers’ squad car”

Yep, time to get rid of the likes of Zinke and Nygren..

  15. “My hubby only had like 9 people at his meet and greet at the seafood place.”

Another lie from a total idiot.

I attended that meet and greet at the Two Tails Market and there was about 40 people that showed up, including Nick Provenzano.

  16. “Prim supporters were even able to garner the support and signatures of Andy Zinke’s Neighbors for Bill Prim’s Petitions…”

I have proven that this is just another imaginary comment by Duncan Mchenry = Zane Seipler.

    What a Buffoon!

  17. “Fukoku”= Kim Zinke and “buseriouslynow” are from the Sheriffs Department.”

I don’t get it Putz, which one is it?

Am I Andrew Zinke’s wife, or am I an employee at the Sheriffs Department?

  18. “Sure hope Andy makes a good Walmart greeter”

You are so not original, go back to your Cuckoos nest mockingbird.

  19. “Three Mchenry County Sheriffs officers beat up a 140 lb 17 year old with possible permanent brain damage.”

Keep jawing Duncan Mchenry = Zane Seipler, you are making the Bill Who supporters look like schmucks.

Thank You for your support Putz!

  20. “How sad that people are using this blog to try to ruin the reputations of others while cowardly hiding behind screen names.”

Ok, you are so brave Mary ????

  21. Paul Greenlee, Fukoku seems to have a selective memory disorder, he/she has posted at 9:04,9:08,9:12,9:17,9:20, and 9:26, Fukoku can not remember what is being posted. Best to leave him/her alone for a while until medication has time to work.

Fukoku, take your medication, get some rest, you are starting to sound like a real goof.

  22. “Fukoku” = Kim Zinke. Your problem is that you want to be the “First Lady” of the Mchenry County Sheriffs Department. You and Andy destroyed that opportunity.

  23. anotherwatcher is the real schmuck here.

He makes a lot of comments that he cannot backup, because they only exist in his mind as I have demonstrated in the past.

  24. “Fukoku” = Kim Zinke…

That young boy who was beaten by Mchenry County Sheriffs officers should take take em to the cleaners.

He and his family should be awarded millions of dollars.

Nygren and Zinke are the leaders over there and they are ultimately responsible for their officers bad behavior.

Andy Zinke gave his middle finger at a public parade and then claimed to be the victim.

If one of their leaders doesn’t know how to accept personal responsibility, we can’t expect his officers to be accountable for their behavior.

The Keith Nygren and Andy Zinke entourage needs to go.

Don’t wait until its one of your kids tax payers to create change.

We have an upcoming election for the Sheriffs race and it is time to cast our votes for a newer and better government and vote for Bill Prim.

  25. Fukoku, Cal’s article was about a Prim Fundraiser, many, many people there to give support for change in McHenry County.

You are displaying, with your comments, that there is a problem with corruption.

You are providing, beyond a reasonable doubt, that a good housekeeping is in order.
