Schaffer Comments on Madigan Patronage

An article appears Sunday in the Chicago Sun-Times on the patronage workers involved in the passing of Mike Madigan’s election petitions two years ago.

No one will be surprised to find out that most of the petition passers have government jobs. Some have second jobs and are receiving a pension for their first government job.

Speaking of the “coincidence” is former State Senator Jack Schaffer, first elected two years after Madigan entered the Illinois House of Representatives.
