Today was supposed to be the day that former McHenry County Sheriff’s Sergeant Greg Pyle entered into a plea agreement with the Federal government.

But, looking at the Court’s website found that the hearing has been postponed for a week:

MINUTE entry before the Honorable Frederick J. Kapala as to Gregory Pyle: Pursuant to unopposed request of defense counsel, status hearing set for November 1, 2013 is reset to November 8, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.  (Entered: 10/24/2013)

Greg Pyle’s Court Appearance Postponed for a Week — 6 Comments

  1. Cal he had a Court Date today in Rockford and one today in McHenry County. I had wondered how he would do both . . . is his date here still on the docket?

  2. Can’t stand the suspense.

The Dominoes will soon begin to fall…

Now we can expect to see some real Mchenry County justice prevail..

The days of watching the TV shows “Lets Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right” will soon be over for good….

  3. I, for one, am interested and in suspense over what everyone is hinting at–some big-grandiose reveal when (presumably) Pyle takes a plea.

Several posters have hinted that Pyle’s plea will be some shining moment and that some key piece of information will be revealed to the world.

I’m not out to agitate the crowd, just curious to see what is supposed to happen and hope it’s more than just A plea deal–like what usually happens when a criminal case is pled out.
