At the Bill Prim for Sheriff fundraiser at the Crystal Lake Country Club, I didn’t get a lot of photos because I was collecting signatures for State Senator Jim Oberweis’ effort to get on the ballot for U.S. Senator in the GOP primary election. (I did get some photos and they are here.)
The third week of October I sent them in.
Today I got a thank you letter.
Jim Oberweis has letterhead for his U.S. Senate campaign.
It came in an envelop with only 38 cents postage on it, the pre-sorted First Class rate.
Someone who knows more about the current rules than I can probably tell readers how many letters have to be sent at one time to qualify for that bargain rate.
Mr. Oberweis has zero chance of beating Durbin.
