According to the sign-up sheet of those obtaining election petitions from the McHenry County Clerk’s Office, attorney Robert Hanlon is running for Precinct Committeeman in Dorr Township’s 11th precinct.

That’s where McHenry County Board member John Jung is now Republican Committeeman.

Jung is up for re-election to the County Board in 2014, having drawn a two-year term.

All Precinct Committeemen have two year terms.

The precinct is primarily in Bull Valley, but it reaches into the Ridgefield and northwestern part of Crystal Lake.

Hanlon was my attorney when Andy Zinke asked that up to $5,000 in sanctions be assessed against me for filing an ethics complaint about Zinke’s having used his Sheriff’s Department email account to tell County Board members about the photo you see here. Shortly after Hanlon filed his brief on my behalf, Zinke’s attorney withdrew his motion for sanctions.

  1. I thought that it was a honorable generous deed by Undersheriff Andrew Zinke to have his attorney withdraw his motion for sanctions against you Cal.

Undersheriff Andrew Zinke has proven that he is the better man and has earned our respect.

I am sure we will read some worthless stupid repeated babbling crap from Duncan Mchenry = Zane Seipler in his futile attempt to discredit Undersheriff Andrew Zinke.

So let’s put on our knee-high boots and hear about the same old nonsense of lies.

  2. It still amazes me that a police officer was caught on camera flipping off the public.

I had never even heard of a cop flipping off the public.

It reminds me of the old middle school prank of some wise guy flipping the middle finger downward while hands are at the side while standing on the risers for the annual class photo.

  3. My obtaining a packet from the county has nothing to do with my prior representation of Mr. Skinner.

Rather, it is solely related to pursuing a party office and contributing to a better community.

As to the combine watcher’s comment, thank you for your positive support.
