Robert LaPorta has applied to the McHenry County Board to be appointed to the Agricultural Conservation Easement and Farmland Protection Commission (ACE).
LaPorta is a former Grafton Township Board member who decided not to run for re-election.
This guy was an embarrassment to all elected officials when he was a Grafton Trustee.
Why do we even have an ACE?
Three of the members are on the McHenry County Farm Bureau.
Disband this committee and cut cost by eliminating the need for a County Staff person to support this committee.
Based on the minutes of their meetings, no one other than the staffer does anything!!
All she appears to do is bring forward work to justify her involvement.
