Manzullo, Hultgren Added to Patriots United Human Trafficking Breakfast

The Patriots United Breakfast devoted to human trafficking

PU 2-8-14 event invitee Hultgren, Manzullo photosThe above and the message below was enclosed in an email that just arrived from Patriots United’s President Joe Edwards:

Human Trafficking is not far away. It is among us, hiding in the shadows. Within a 10 mile radius of downtown Crystal Lake we have seen 4 massage parlors busted for prostitution and more insidious still, the largest child porn distributor in Illinois apprehended. Another child porn bust in McHenry and now, a former Sergeant in the McHenry County Sheriff’s department has plead guilty to child pornography and sex acts with a minor. None of these sad front-page stories are harmless and they almost always involve coercion.

This year we will learn how to draw a line in the sand, working with law enforcement, legislators, clergy and citizen activists to declare our counties NO Tolerance Zones.

  1. Patriots United, thank you so much for holding this breakfast, with the topic of human trafficking! T

he people of McHenry County need to be informed on what is going on in their County.

Time to Clean Up McHenry County.

This should be a National Event, I sure hope the Press is there and a Video is made, to educate those who could not attend.

  2. I think that everyone can agree that human trafficking is bad, but what does this have to do with Patriots United’s platform of being “pro-family, limited government, free market economy, national defense, and choice in education.”?

Anyone can feel free to take a crack at it because I’m drawing a blank.
