Local Conservative Leaders Going Where the Illinois GOP Won’t

FrontIf Republicans are ever serious about winning statewide elections in Illinois then they must do better in Chicago.

Over the past decade Republicans continuously ignored Chicago because the conventional political wisdom was that the Democratic machine was too strong and it was a waste of time, energy, and money.

Two local politicians are trying to change that.

Suzette of WVON AM 1690 and Former Congressman Joe Walsh of AM 560 The Answer will moderate an urban conservative dialogue entitled

“Political Detox: Conversations Curing Party Dependency”

on February 9th from 2 PM to 6PM at Unity Hall in Riverdale.

The event is being presented by Young Government.

State Senator Dan Duffy and local Algonquin Precinct Committeeman and County Board Candidate Andrew Gasser will be on a panel that will begin the discussion on the two party system.

Other honored guests include State Senator Napoleon Harris, Chicago Republican Committeeman of the 34th Ward and Co-Chair of the Chicago Republican Party Percy V. Coleman, Young Government Spokesman and Green Party Member LeAlan Jones, and Spokesman for Chicago Vote TJ Crawford.
