Young Adult Response At All Time High For 5th Annual Celebrating Life Unity Breakfast on Human Trafficking

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – There has been a huge outpouring of interest from young people in the 5th Annual Celebrating Life Unity Breakfast. Student groups from Aurora University, Moody Bible Institute and McHenry County College plan on attending as well as from assorted churches in the area.

PU Human Trafficking Breakfast 2-8-14“We are excited to see that over 70 young adults have confirmed their attendance to this event. Clearly, this issue resonates with our young people who wish to stop this injustice,” explained Joe Edwards, President of Patriots United.

The 5th Annual Celebrating Life Unity Breakfast will focus on the tragic reality of human trafficking, a form of modern day slavery.

This event is the first time this issue will have been discussed at a public forum of this size in the area.

The breakfast will feature a keynote presentation by Laila Mickelwait of Exodus Cry, an organization dedicated to eradicating sex trafficking at its root causes and addressing the societal factors that allow this modern day slavery to exist.

While it is not too late to register, tickets are running out so we encourage interested citizens to not delay in getting a ticket before the event is sold out.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 8th, at D’Andrea Banquets in Crystal Lake, IL. Registration begins at 7:30 AM and the program runs from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Breakfast will be provided for attendees. People interested in attending can register by visiting www.PatriotsUnited.com. Cost is $25 for those who register online by February 5th or $30 at the door (overflow will be limited).

  1. Again, this is some feel good stuff, but what in Sam Hill does this have to do with Patriots United’s mission???

  2. I’m sure these young people are so concerned about human trafficking that they are flocking in by the busloads to hear someone talk about it.

Makes perfect sense… if you are unable to sell tickets to your event.
