Having Fought McHenry County Corruption for Six Years from the Outside, Zane Seipler Seeks County Board Seat to Continue the Fight from the Inside

I’ve just gotten a copy of the campaign literature of former McHenry County Sheriff’s Deputy Zane Seipler.

He is positioning himself as an outsider who has fought corruption in the Sheriff’s Department.

“Take McHenry County Back” is the message on this side.

After fighting corruption from the outside, Zane Seipler seeks voter approval to fight it from the inside.

Jung was beaten by Yensen, but he returned to the Board in the reapportionment election two years ago.

The fourth Republican, Michael Rein, was defeated by Yensen.

There were 294 votes separating Yensen and Rein.

Now the three GOP candidates are vying for two spots with the winners facing off against the incumbent Democrat from Lake in the Hills.

Jung is from Bull Valley.  Rein and Seipler are from Woodstock.

Seipler also runs a blog entitled, “McHenry County Sheriff’s Race 2014.”

Seipler ran an unsuccessful Republican Primary Election campaign against Sheriff Keith Nygren in 2010 and is running for Republican Precinct Committee against Andy Zinke. Seipler previously held the post, but did not run for re-election in 2012.

  1. Zane….in my opinion you need professional help.

Maybe Dr. Phil can help you understand that you are wrong, not everyone else.

  2. Zane, I don’t agree with you at all in your way of thinking and your malicious attacks towards others.

You have been beaten to the ground, kick in the balls numerous times, and just recently the Judge ordered you to pay $240,500.00 for Trial Misconduct that will most likely financially destroy you.

With saying all that, you get up from your many defeats and you still fight.

I do have to give you this, you fight like a Samurai.

  3. Mr. Seipler, I met you several years ago when you knocked on my door, requesting that I sign your petition to run for McHenry County Sheriff.

I asked why I should lend credence to your efforts with my signature, and your answer was short and simple yet quite profound… You said “Because I’m the only chance this county’s got, right now!” I, then, asked you to elaborate and questioned your reason for running.

Though, at the time, I didn’t truly understand the significance of your words, I did sign your petition and, as you suggested, I began researching some of the things we discussed.
Needless to say, I was quite disturbed! And to think these activities were going on right in my own backyard!!

That was an awakening for me, from then on I became engaged in the on-goings of our community – and, in turn, I have caused others to become engaged as well.

I have followed, as best I can, your pursuit of truth and justice over the years in taking on, and exposing, what appears to be rampant corruption and criminal activity within the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office. Regretfully, I have also followed, as best I can, the trials and tribulations you have endured and most recently, the miscarriage of justice that has been brought upon you and your family.

I mean not, to slight the sacrifices you have made, with platitude or cliché, but I will say, with all sincerity, that you, Zane Seipler, personify the words of JFK when he said: “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what YOU can do for your country…”

You have sacrificed much to bring truth to the people of McHenry County. I cannot think of a better person ANYWHERE to represent us in our county board.

[To those reading who may not be aware, as I, myself, was not – I implore you to research the activities of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office over the last decade.

I, also, implore you to support Bill Prim for Sheriff in this primary election on March 18, 2014. The election of Bill Prim as McHenry County Sheriff will inaugurate untold change in the political culture of McHenry County for generations to come!]

Mr. Seipler. I would like to volunteer my time and services to your campaign of truth, as I have for Bill Prim and his fight for truth and justice in McHenry County. I also have several neighbors who will be eager to lend their efforts as well. I will be in contact with you in the very near future.

God bless you and your family for all you have done, for all you have endured, for all you have sacrificed and for all I know you have yet to do!

I apologize for my soliloquy, I have never been accused of being a man of too few words.

  4. Notta – Maybe someone should have listened to Zane when he said Greg Pyle should be checked out!!! Needed an eval.

  5. “Notta’ is the only one that needs professional help..

Zane Seipler should have never been fired.

The fact is Nygren has thrown many temper tantrums over the years and has used the court system to get his way.

He blames others for his indiscretions and accepts no responsibility for the inexcusable, horrible legacy he has left with our community. Keith Nygren will never be remembered as a hero.

More like a “BULLIE” The tax payers need to realize that they are literally paying for those temper tantrums, with their tax dollars.

Truth be told, Zane has been fighting corruption for a many years..

We really do leave what we have accomplished to our children and future generations to come.

It is now up to the people of McHenry County to choose the same broken Government or choose to vote for Zane Seipler and Bill Prim our greatest hope for change. March 18, 2014

  6. Fighting corruption?

By falsely signing an official document claiming a passenger in the car was actually the driver or by having a Federal Judge find you were lying in court?

Then instead of accepting consequences, seeming to go on a angry vengeance filled online journey against rivals and even their families? hmmm…that could only lead to great things if such a person was on the county board.

  7. My experience is they are one sided and do not file defendant’s motions in the County’s Circuit Court.

My complaints are being submitted with Lisa Madigan and Department of Justice
