McHenry’s GOP County Board candidate Chuck Wheeler had the misfortune to schedule his fundraiser for Tuesday night, the same day that the League of Women Voters and the Northwest Herald are sponsoring a joint appearance at 7 PM for the Republican candidates for Sheriff at McHenry County College.

Having the good sense not to go into competition to what will be the premier political event of the primary season, Wheeler has rescheduled his event for Wednesday, March 5th.

The $25 event ($40 per couple) will be held from 6-8 at Buddy’s Pizzeria & Pub, 1138 N. Green Street in McHenry.
