Crystal Lake Tea Party Coordinator Offers Endorsements

Here is what appeared in an email tonight from Mary Alger:

Are you ready to help steer the Illinois corruptocracy away from the fiscal rocks all around?

I sure am!

Polls are open 6 am – 7 pm

Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 is the Primary Election. The Primary Election is perhaps even more important than the general election because this is when we pick the candidates that will compete in the general election.

Mary Alger, who designed this GOP Tea Party logo, was at the McHenry County Republican Central Committee meeting last Saturday in support of Tonya Franklin's candidacy.

Mary Alger designed this GOP Tea Party logo..

As coordinator of the Crystal Lake TEA Party I am including my recommendations for the contested races.

I am asking you to do your homework on the Republican candidates running for Governor.

As a Catholic, I will be voting for Bill Brady & Maria Rodriquez for Lt. Gov. in this race.

If you want to win the governorship vote for Bruce Rauner.

The democrats are crossing over and will be requesting Republican ballots to get Kirk Dillard elected as the Republican candidate and then will cross over during the general election and will switch their allegiance to Quinn or get from Mr. Dillard what they paid for. Of course we know the governorship is the key to leadership and governance so please choose wisely.

Choosing the right Sheriff is extremely important since this is the only law enforcement position that is answerable to the voters. I have come to know Bill Prim and trust him to uphold his Constitutional oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. He will work seamlessly with the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s office and is endorsed by McHenry County State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi.

For McHenry County Board I can recommend these candidates: You can vote for 1 when 2 are required.

  • District 1: Andrew Gasser
  • District 2: Donna Kurtz
  • District 3: Joe Gottemoller
  • District 4: John Hammerand & Chuck Wheeler
  • District 5: John Jung Jr. and Zane Seipler
  • District 6: Ersel Schuster

McHenry County Treasurer: Jeffrey Thorsen

McHenry County Clerk: Nick Provenzano

I am fully endorsing and supporting Bob Grogan for Illinois StateTreasurer. He is a CPA and a Certified Fraud examiner – Talk about the right guy at the right time in the right place & in the right race…

Tom Cross who is running for the same position has no experience for this position and assisted the democrats with Republican votes needed  for SB-10 (homosexual marriage) in Illinois & assured  Illinois got Obamacare 2 years early (before the cases were even heard against it in the Supreme Court)

Though unopposed in the Republican primary please give Randy Hultgren your vote. He has been a friend of faith, family & fiscal issues. – BIG YES!

Sen. Dist 26 Dan Duffy is a TRUE REFORMER in Springfield – Big YES!

52nd Dist. State Rep. David McSweeney is doing fiscal battle and proposing solutions in Springfield – BIG YES!

Steve Reick is the Republican for State Rep Dist 64. running against Jack Franks. Steve Reick is a Constitutional conservative that pledges to take a vote away from Mike Madigan’s speakership by sending a Republican instead of a democrat who always votes for Madigan’s 40 year-reign. Steve also pledged to work to dismantle Common Core in Springfield! The rights of parents and their local school board should never be trumped by a national, untested, education system that is condemned by parents, teachers and students alike. Please see extensive research on this topic here: www.stopcommoncoreillinois.org

I’m Voting NO on giving up the freemarket choice for garbage collection to the township & voting NO on having the McHenry County Board Chair chosen by the voters. Board chair would best remain by the representatives we elected lest it become the one with more $ and signs that is chosen.

Precinct committeemen are the lifeblood of getting out the info. to the voters and will choose the party’s leadership. Here are the Republican Precinct Committeemen that I can recommend: *denotes my personal favorites 🙂

  • Marengo 1 – Joe Ranzino
  • Chemung 2 – William Matteson
  • Heartland 1 – *Diane Evertson
  • Heartland 2 – David Finke
  • Seneca 1 – Robert Schlenkert

  • Grafton 5 – *Jeff Thorsen
  • Grafton 6 – Betty Jane Miller

Crystal Lake Tea Party Coordinator Offers Endorsements — 13 Comments

  1. It has been brought to my attention that comments have been made on this blog that DO NOT
    Belong to me.

My name is being used by an obviously very disturbed person.

I would never make ANY comment that would be supportive of Nygren or Zinke.

    Thank you.

    The real,

    David Bachmann

  2. Thank you for your endorsements.

I agree with all of them except for Mr. Rauner as I worry that he will be a tyrant in office.

Chicago already has a tyrant who is Mayor and we don’t need two in Illinois in these key positions.

Nick Provenzano is the right choice for Clerk.

Prim is the right choice for Sheriff.

  3. Nick Provenzano a person who does not follow the law and violates his oath of office does not get my support.

  4. For Nunda Twp I’d add to not vote for the twp controlling your garbage pickup!

Another intrusion of government taking away OUR choices.

  5. Crystal Lake Tea Party is a bunch of loony birds, and by a bunch I mean 5, and three of them are Algers.

One should look at this list as who not to vote for…

  6. CL Tea Party makes the Birchers look like a bunch of tree-hugging socialist lefties.

  7. Huntley Resident, You Are Delusional.

Are you off your Meds again?

If Everyone just does the opposite of what you say,

    McHenry County will Be Fine.

  8. Why has no one commented on the fact that Rauner is pro-abortion?

That’s usually a deal killer for this area.

  9. @markmcguire.

The Tea Party is willing to make exceptions when it suits their preferences.

Usually, Tea Party would decry Double Dipping as pension abuse…..except they favor Bill Prim.

And, Tea Party would normally denounce a Pro-Choice candidate….except they favor Rauner as the “Outsider” who is going to fix Illinois.

So, even the principled Tea Party compromises principle when it suits their preferences.

Politics as usual by a different name. LOL.

  10. Obviously very few people agree with any given candidate on every single issue.

Happy to hear of a teacher against double dipping.

In this instance Prim double dipping saves McHenry County taxpayers money because he is opting out of the McHenry County Sheriff Pension Plan (IMRF) and McHenry County taxpayers don’t fund his

    Des Plaines Police Pension.

McHenry County taxpayers would fund Zinke’s pension though through the employer contribution to IMRF.

So if lower taxes is your goal Vote Prim.

Prim has stated throughout the campaign he believes he can cut costs in the Sheriff Dept,
whereas Zinke has stated the status quo is fine.

So there’s two areas Prim is taxpayers money.

  11. Rauner is not 100% pro abortion, it depends on the exact issue at hand.

The Illinois Family Institute Details candidates positions on this and other family issues in their free online voting guide.

If you are against abortion for any reason Rauner is not your guy.

If you are for abortion in certain circumstances take a look at Rauner.
