Lake County Republican Federation Announces Senator Ron Johnson as Keynote Speaker for 52nd Anniversary Spring Gala
Libertyville – The Lake County Republican Federation is pleased to announce that Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) will be the Keynote Speaker for its 52nd Anniversary Spring Gala. The event takes place on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. The cocktail reception begins at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 per person and $1,250 for a table of ten. Additional sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Senator Johnson spent 31 years as the owner of a plastic business in Oshkosh, WI.
In 2010, alarmed by the continued growth of government as embodied by the Affordable Care Act, Ron Johnson ran for the United States Senate, defeating liberal icon Russ Feingold.
Ron serves on the committees on the Budget; Commerce, Science and Transportation; Foreign Relations; Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs; and Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Ron truly is a citizen legislator ready to work with anyone who is willing to address the realities of America’s spending, federal debt, and economy. His manufacturing background has taught him to attack the root cause of a problem, not mere symptoms, and his years in the private sector have taught him the importance of strategy, not just tactics.
The goal of the Lake County Republican Federation’s Annual Spring Gala is to raise the funds necessary for a successful 2014 election campaign. Proceeds will be used towards grassroots organizing efforts, upgrading technology, maintaining Lake County Republican Headquarters, and providing staff support for the Lake County GOP.
