“Students are largely uninformed,” said Emily Macuk, vice president of College Conservatives at MCC. “If we can get our generation interested in politics, we will provide a strong foundation for our future.

The College Conservatives Club is a political organization that aims to increase student awareness of the founding principles of the United States.

“There’s a huge disconnect between the government and the people,” said Matt Cannizzo, president of College Conservatives at MCC.

“We intend to engage, inspire, and educate those who have not been exposed to the realities that our generation faces”.

The event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to benefit the club’s endeavors.

  1. Why are not MCC College Conservatives listed under MCC Student Organizations or meetings advertised in The Flush (MCC Student weekly newssheet) or any other MCC Correspondence?

Is this an “underground” organization or has MCC consciously excluded them from their publications?
