Zinke Campaign Costs over $75,000 Since New Year’s Day

The quarterly reports for campaign committees are due tomorrow, but Andy Zinke’s has already been filed.

Loser Zinke reported spending $72,126 since January 1st.  An additional $3,868 was reported as in-kind expenditures.

During the quarter, he raised $38,625.  Right before the election is not when candidates should be spending time raising lots of money.

Contributions during the first three months of the year which are over $150 (large enough to be mandated to be reported) follow:

Only two Political Action Committees made donations:

  • $600 – Citizens to Elect Bob Miller
  • $250 – Committee to Elect Michael W Tryon

In turn, Zinke only made one contribution to a PAC that was made public:

  • $350 to the McHenry County Republican Party, presumably for the Lincoln Day Dinner.
