WLS radio is reporting that Pam Althoff has gotten a bill out of committee that undoubtedly springs from the Woodstock policeman’s texting interaction with the daughter of one of his ex-girlfriends.  The following paragraph explains the legislation:

“We had a case in McHenry County where one of our police officers was sending inappropriate text messages to a 12-year-old girl asking her to send sexy pictures,” Althoff said. “So, what this bill attempts to do is add a new element to the offense of knowingly using a computer, online service, internet services, etc., to include the distribution of photographs that depict the sex organs of a child.”

This sounds like the bill State Rep. Jack Franks introduced on which the Northwest Herald did an article.

  1. How about if one of those 30 or so McHenry County Road Commish’s, get Pam a reflective vest and trash bag, to start picking up on Rt 31.
