In case you missed it, in light of recent allegations of abuse at the VA, Rep. Hultgren is calling for all veterans in the 14th District who may have been mistreated or ignored by Hines VA Hospital (or other centers) to contact his office for assistance in getting an appointment and the treatment they need. He released a video with more details:
Veterans throughout the district should be interested in getting more information about this growing problem and how to get help—and their Congressman’s office is a direct line to the federal government. A story on this would be great to help get the word out to those in need and don’t know where to turn.

My Uncle had been one of the remaining survivors of Normandy. He was one of General George Pattons Spearheaders, and was there to free the Jews from the concentration camps.
He grew up in Minnesota and was fortunate enough to return home to his family, when the war was over.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the veterans of war, and under no circumstance should mistreatment of any of them be tolerated…
